Well if one thing’s certain for this season, it’s that nude is apparently the only acceptable color palette for formal events and for the runway (There were, naturally, a few exceptions to the rule including Sofia Vergara looking stunning in a blue-green mermaid gown).
Two of my favorites from the Globes carpet last night: Charlize and Angelina. Both stunning, both not quite nude.
Still confused about Lea….it was just so see-through in so many places. Granted, we do see stars take risky looks off of the runway and put them on the carpet (remember RiRi in Gaultier at the Grammys?) but this just seemed like so much. Not to mention, I’m sure I’ve seen something like it on My Super Sweet Sixteen…..but she’s just so pretty in all of her photos.
All in all, there were many noteworthy looks, including Emma Stone, Rooney Mara, Adam Levine, and Zooey Deschanel’s….nails.
PS: Was I the only one left wondering….what happened to Mila, what is Kelly Osbourne’s hair, and WHAT WAS NAYA RIVERA THINKING!?!?
