The Huffington Post described this dess as “swallowing her up” compared to her last cover, when she was naked with grey hair. Granted, the article did say that the picture was gorgeous, and that her winning blonde hair and dramatic eyes make for a winning cover; but to say that the dress swallows her is an odd choice of words. There’s still skin exposed, and she still looks like Gaga; she’s just shocking her crowd in a different way. Rather than using her body and her tattoos, she’s exploring the severity of her elegance and the charm of a lady in red. I love it—she’s stunning.
