This is my view of the world.
This is why I commend artists of all types; they’re all trying to give something to the world in the best way that they know how. That’s why I do what I do. I’m not a life-saver. I’m not meant to pursue medicine or law or business. The way that I’m meant to give back to the world is through my writing and my dancing. I’m meant to contribute artistically and learn philosophically. I view things slightly differently than left-brained intellectuals.
The world can’t function without them, and the world can’t function without artists. Equal value should be given to both. That’s how it’s meant to be.
